SWGT takes data privacy very seriously!

About the SWGT web platform and web services:

• By design, each SWGT url is isolated to just it's own database and does not have cyphers to access another database. The exception here is that guild sites can read from the public SWGT site in specific use cases if enabled. 
• SWGT encrypts all data in transit, in memory and at rest.
• SWGT has active monitoring by Amazon AWS for intrusion and malware.
• SWGT has a WAF (a web application firewall) to only allow authorized traffic.
  
• Technically SWGT is HIPAA complaint the way that it is built and monitored.
• Cerusa is the only person in the world with access to SWGT source code and the production servers in any way. All access is via secure VPN and passwords are rotated monthly.
  

About the SWGT plugin:

• The SWGT plugins are all open source so you can see that your data is safe and SWGT only pulls the data elements needed to use SWGT.
• For SWGT Guild sites, anyone in your guild can sync but only authorized users with valid API keys from their my profile page can use the plugin
• For SWGT personal, only enabled player's data is sent from SWEX to SWGT. So playing with alt accounts does not transmit data to SWGT unless the player is enabled.

About SWGT Guild sites:

• By design, each guild site is isolated to it's own database separate from one another. Each guild site is only permitted to read it's own data.
• All SWGT Guild/Guild+ sites require users to login to get access to any features/data except for the login page, forgotten password, and recruitment if enabled.
• After SWGT Guild site setup, Cerusa removes all access to your guild site and is not permitted to access your guild site unless authorized in writing on discord or via Patreon message.
• All guild to user authorizations are audit logged and available to view in the setup menu, under guilds. Find your guild and click the users button. This page shows you which users are currently authorized to your guild and the "Security Audit Log" tab shows you all permission changes since the SWGT 5.14.5 update on September 29th, 2024 at 9am Eastern Time.
• If more than one guild is enabled on a guild site, a friendly a reminder that any super user can modify their own access to authorize or remove guilds from their profiles.
• 3MDC is a shared pool of defenses and counters maintained manually.
• 3MDC battle logs follow guild permissions.

About SWGT personal:

• Only you have access to your data except for friends you authorize.
